OC3 is a non-profit environmental and conservation advocacy organization. Our volunteers work to protect the natural resources and environment of Olmsted County Citizens while promoting sustainable economic development.

The development of our organization was brought about due to the proposed construction of the MinnErgy Ethanol Plant near Eyota. Based on information gathered through the Freedom of Information Act Requests (filed to MPCA and other state agencies by our hired professional Geologist, Jeff Broberg), our group strongly opposes the construction of the MinnErgy Ethanol Plant!

The findings compiled off this information by our team of professional advisors leads us to believe the MinnErgy Ethanol Plant, if constructed, will cause serious air & water pollution problems and massive depletion of the Jordan Aquifer. This is our pure drinking water supply.

Other major concerns are the potential for long term health risks, loss of property values, and increased taxes if the plant is constructed. OC3 is now meeting on a weekly schedule. If you would like to join our group, call or email one of our contacts.
